Rumbles calls for end to further strike action

Commenting on the strike action being taken by bus operator Stagecoach in the North East and Highlands, Liberal Democrat MSP for West Aberdeenshire and Kincardine Mike Rumbles said:

"This strike is highly disruptive for families in the North East and Highlands.

"I know that there are further strikes planned on the 21st and 24th of this month. I call on the unions and Stagecoach to get round the table together and sort this out as quickly as possible.

"As normal it's families that are badly affected by this strike. It needs to be avoided."
