Commenting after attending a cross party press conference to protest at the Scottish Government's inaction to protect Scottish homeowners from repossession, Liberal Democrat Housing spokesperson Ross Finnie said:

"I am surprised and frustrated that the Government is ignoring advice from experts working at the frontline of the housing crisis.

"We have laid aside party politics and want to work with the Government to protect Scottish homeowners from repossession.

"I am bitterly disappointed that the Health Secretary is burying her head in the sand about this issue."
